Oregon
1) Licensees must earn 24 hrs of CE if they hold a :
(a) General Supervising Electrician;
(b) Limited Supervising Electrician;
(c) General Journeyman Electrician;
(d) Journeyman Plumber;
(e) Class 3 Boiler Building Service Mechanic;
(f) Class 4 Boiler Boilermaker;
(g) Class 5 Boiler Pressure-Piping Mechanic;
(h) Class 5A Boiler Process Piping Mechanic;
(i) Class 5B Boiler Refrigeration Piping Mechanic.
2) Licensees must earn 16 hrs of CE if they hold a:
(1) Limited Residential Electrician
(2) Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician
3) Licensees must earn 8 hrs of CE if they hold a :
(1) Limited Maintenance Electrician;
(2) Class A Limited Energy Technician;
(3) Class B Limited Energy Technician; and,
(4) Solar Heating and cooling System Plumbing Installer;
(5) Class 2 Boiler Pressure Vessel Installer.
4) Licensees must earn 4 hrs of CE if they hold a :
(a) Limited Renewable Energy Technician;
(b) Limited Journeyman Sign Electrician.
New Licensee Continuing Education Requirements
(1) New licensees must complete the following
continuing education requirements prior to renewal:
(a) No continuing education is required if license is
obtained within 6 months of license expiration date; or
(b) The lesser of 8 hours of continuing education or
the minimum requirement for the license is required if the
license is obtained within 12 months of the license
expiration date; or
(c) The lesser of 16 hours of continuing education or
the minimum requirement for the license is required if the
license is obtained within 24 months of the license
expiration date.
(2) New licensees are not required to complete a code-change course.

Courses are fully accredited by the State of Oregon Building Codes Division.
Reciprocity: Oregon offers reciprocity with the following states: Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Rhode Island, Utah, and Wyoming. For a fee of $20 some courses can be reciprocated. This depends on the course, the state you are receiving credit for, and the state you would like to reciprocate credit to.
