The Kansas State Board of Technical Professions requires that professional engineers earn 30 PDH for each two-year renewal period. Licensees whose last name begins with the letters A through L are required to renew April 30 of even-numbered years. Licensees whose last name begins with the letters M through Z are required to renew April 30 of odd-numbered years. The Board does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the Board's requirements.
