All electricians must complete 24 hrs of Continuing Education with a minimum of 8 hrs on Code Changes. As of Jan. 1, 2005 4 hrs of the Continuing Education must be on the currently adopted Revised Code of Washington and its related Administrative Code (WAC).

Courses are fully accredited by the Washington Department of Commerce, Safety and Buildings Division.
Reciprocity:Washington offers reciprocity with the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. For a fee of $20 some courses can be reciprocated. This depends on the course, the state you are receiving credit for, and the state you would like to reciprocate credit to.
